The General Assembly has passed a new statue requiring a Kansas Roofing Contractor Bond<\/strong> where previously such contractors were unregulated by the state. \u00a0Many cities and counties have their own requirements, including\u00a0ICC or other testing requirements. \u00a0Most contractors are also required to register with the State of Kansas for revenue purposes.\u00a0 Following is a non-exhaustive list of locations. \u00a0Roofing contractors should verify with local authorities prior to comencing any work.<\/p>\n

The new Kansas roofing contractor bond<\/a>\u00a0is part of a bill enacted by the Kansas Legislature and signed by the Governor on April 22, 2013.
